This stunning model, finished in Palladium grey, made for the 2008 Model Year, represents the icon we have today - The SL65 AMG Black Series.

The production model featured a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 661 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 199 mph. Due to its carbon fibre bodywork and fixed roof, it is 250 kg lighter than the standard SL65, a first for the SL series.
